All January appointments are full, and we are not yet booking any appointments later than the end of January.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Important Announcement:  Beginning January 25, 2021, The PAWS Clinic is implementing a new scheduling process, due to the incredibly high demand for our services and the ever-changing environment of COVID.   We developed this process in order to provide consistent service to our clients in a timely fashion.

With our new process, appointments will only be scheduled one week in advance, and appointment requests will be accepted only one day per week.  Here’s how it works:

We will accept requests via phone every Monday from 9am-5pm for appointments for the following week only.  Requests will ONLY be accepted during these hours; messages left outside of these hours will not be returned, including messages left prior to 9am on Mondays.  Call 313-451-8200 and leave a message with the following information: dog/cat, male/female, age, and for dogs we will also need to know their weight and breed.  Requests for appointments must be made via phone.  We will not accept requests for appointments from email or Facebook.

We will return each week’s calls between Monday and Thursday in the order in which they were received.  It may take several days to return calls so please be patient and do not leave multiple messages on a single Monday.  Once appointment slots are filled for the following week for your pet’s species, sex, or weight (dogs), we will not return any additional calls for that type of animal.  If you do not receive a call back by the end of the day Thursday, please call the following Monday to try again.

This process will begin on Monday, January 25th for appointments for the week of February 1st, and continue each subsequent Monday for the following week.  For major holidays that fall on Mondays, appointment requests will be accepted on the Tuesday after the holiday, between 9am-5pm.

The PAWS Clinic understands that this process is quite different from the way we worked in the past, and that it may be very difficult for some clients, for which we sincerely apologize.  Since we returned last June from the COVID closure, our call volume has been unbelievably high, and we have had periods of time when it has taken weeks to return calls.  We are hoping this change will streamline our scheduling process and allow us to provide more timely service to our clients.  Thank you for your understanding and support.

Our lobby remains closed to the public.

The PAWS Clinic provides high-quality, affordable spay and neuter services to our community.

We are located in the heart of the Downriver area of Wayne County, Michigan,
easily accessible from all areas of metro Detroit.
Surgeries are performed Monday-Thursday each week.

Please call 313-451-8200 for more information or to schedule an appointment
