“Family Affair” program
The Family Affair program is made possible through generous funding from the Kenneth A. Scott Charitable Trust, a Keybank Trust.
With the Family Affair program, kittens between 8 and 24** weeks of age can be spayed or neutered and receive a rabies vaccine (kittens 12 weeks or older) and a distemper vaccine, for the incredibly low price of $5 per kitten.
To qualify, the owner must spay the mother cat at the same time the kittens are spayed/neutered and must pay the full price of $49 for the mother. A current rabies vaccine is also required for the mother cat, and will be administered at the time of surgery for an additional $15 if she is not already current.
This program does not apply to “community” cats (feral or stray cats who live outside full time), as the clinic does have other funding available to subsidize the cost of community cats.
To make an appointment, please call 313-451-8200 and leave a message. We will call you back to schedule your appointment. Space for this program is extremely limited, so call soon.
**Age will be determined by our veterinarians based on the kitten’s weight and development of their teeth. Our veterinarians’ determination of the age of kittens and their eligibility for this promotion are final.
